Designed for an older couple who collect art and wanted a calm space, it creates a neutral canvas in which the owners can add their own colours and personal touches.
Borrowing from elements found in art galleries, its spaces all communicate with each other through narrow windows that allow you to see right through the space, from left to right and front to back.
The arches create corridors that determine the circulation round the space, and emphasise the height of the open roof.
Natural light is brought in through internal windows and 2 skylights.
